Starck's Mini-Turbine To Sell in September

Is design, as Philippe Starck claims, “absolutely void of usefulness”?
Starck’s Democratic Ecology, a personal wind turbine, which he debuted at the Greenenergy Design show in Milan, offers a compelling counter-argument. The design, is made of transparent polycarbonate, and can generate 20 to 60 percent of a home’s electricity.
The turbine will sell for $633 starting in September, 2008.
