Design Inspiration

Men's Vogue is getting into the design game. The fashion forward magazine recently surveyed a group of well known designerati, asking each for five sources that inspire them most.
The motley crew includes some of the biggest names and minds in the industry, from Dutch industrial designer Marcel Wanders to Chicago-based collector and auctioneer Richard Wright. Some of the esteemed panel chose one another's designs, some picked commonplace objects, and a few opted for places. Overall the lists make for an interesting if disparate collection—with rare Stradivari violins (Tomas Libertiny) saddled along side everyday umbrellas (Inga Sempe)—though there were a few threads and commonalities.
