Myanmar + Architecture for Humanity

Over two million people have been displaced from the destruction of Cyclone Nargis in Myanmar. Relief groups are being allowed limited access, though the most devastated parts of the country are still being blocked; fewer than one-third of the affected are receiving help.
Architecture for Humanity has launched an appeal for help focusing on the rebuilding process, which will draw on the design community's experience in creating sustainable architecture. Clinics, schools, housing, and other critical infrastructure will be built with donations by a network of architects with local experience. For more information on how to get involved send inquiries to volunteers@architectureforhumanity.org, or for donations visit the website.
