Luck: The Essential Guide
Do you believe in luck?

Kevin Kwan and Deborah Aaronson have published what they call  a “greatest hits” of lucky charms, a disproportionate number of which involve the home. If you’re inclined to believe such things, here are a few to keep in mind:

+ An intricate pattern of unbroken lines painted on the threshold prevents bad luck from entering.

+ Enter your home only through the front door, right foot first.

+ If bad luck has entered your home, hang the doors upside down.

+ Move into a new home on a Monday or Thursday.

+ Keep fireplace tools to the right of the hearth.

+ If somebody you dislike comes to dinner, seat them at a corner of the dining table, where bad luck tends to congregate.

What the hell is THIS doing here? What does mindless cataloging of ignorant superstitions have to do with architecture or design? This is just another pointless consumable to add to the landfills after a 5 minute browse.
