Slideshow: The Reading Nest

Yesterday, Michael blogged the rise of the small shed. So I thought I’d follow up with the Reading Nest, a 108-square-foot prefab by Danish firm Dorte Mandrup Arkitekter. As Dorte explained to us, the house, with its built-in bookshelves and fold-up bed, provides a quiet place to read, work, and think. A large front window and a skylight flood the birch-plywood structure with light.
