Prefab Booth at Electronics Show
The Consumer Electronics Show may have the flashiest booths of any trade gathering in the world. This week in Las Vegas, firms like Microsoft and Intel lorded it over the convention floor with small cities that convulsed with sound and light. The power geeks really know how to pitch a spectacle, though it can get pretty tiresome.

So imagine my relief when I saw a modest prefab home built at the far end of one of the main halls. The home, whose model name is Aegean, is a new design built from shipping containers by Los Angeles Architect Peter DeMaria for Logical Homes, a California prefab outfit. It was built inside the convention center for Olevia, a company that makes energy efficient televisions.

Great design. I love contemporary design because everything looks sleek... nothing is gaudy or just downright awful-looking :p

Great post, I wish I could have seen this project in person. What was the scale of it like? Did it feel like that "Wee House" or was it a legit small home?
