Home-Design Tool
Ignore the name 30Elm, and focus on the tagline: Home Design Made Easy.

Since 30Elm is a website built both for homeowners and designers, it has several functions. Architects and interior designers can showcase their projects, and homeowners can pull inspiration from those projects or find a designer to match their needs. During the home design process, both designers and clients can share a project management page and open it up to others for comments.

But if you’re just after eye candy you can save the homes (even specific pictures, with notes) in folders on your user dashboard: an organized—and green— way to keep clippings.

The site started this summer, but has now accumulated enough quality projects to start getting interesting. If you’re tired of reading fine print (like this) on the computer screen, watch 30Elm's instructional videos on how to get started and optimize its organizational potential.

Not all of the projects are my taste, but there is a lot of good modernism there. Thanks!

Wow. This is a great tool and great use of the net. It's like having a Taunton Press book that refreshes every 10 minutes (except nothing can replace a book). Thanks for the tip. http://theeffectivelife.wordpress.com/
