Guy Décor: The Porsche Kitchen
James Dyson restyled the vacuum to appeal to male buyers. Will the same tactic work with kitchens?

Last week, Poggenpohl, the German kitchen manufacturer, and Porsche, the German car maker, introduced a modular aluminum kitchen line created specifically for guys. It starts at $80,000.

Not surprisingly, the kitchen, called the P’7340, has plenty of gadgets: a flat-screen TV hidden behind black glass, a docking station for mp3 players, and drawers and cabinets that open electronically at the slightest touch.

Best job I ever had was working at Porsche. I had my pick of the litter every time I had to run some documents from one factory to the other...at 100mph+. Too bad Stuttgart is such an ugly city.
