To kick things off, Bill McDonough, author of Cradle to Cradle, will be presenting a keynote address on Friday, June 24th, from 6:00pm-7:00pm. Among the many topics the accomplished architect will discuss are how new ways of thinking can can create a future that's "more good" rather than "less bad."
Featured presentations hosted by Dwell's editors span the spectrum of landscape design, sustainability, interviews on what it's like to live in an Airstream, how-to printmaking, and a screening of lesser-known films from the Eames archive. For a complete list of the many panel discussions, please click through to dod.dwell.com. Panelists include architect Eric Owen Moss, Cass Calder Smith, Architizer co-founder Marc Kushner, and Ed Begley Jr. On June 25th, join our friends at Architecture for Humanity for a special Pecha Kucha discussion on the theme of Regeneration.
One of the most popular events surrounding Dwell on Design are our self-guided tours of modern homes all across Los Angeles. Catch six homes on the Westside Home Tour on June 18th, and six more homes on the Eastside Home Tour on June 25th.
