The Wright

The Wright, the first addition to the iconic Guggenheim Museum’s interior, references the building’s unique geometry with its undulating walls, sculptural forms and flared ceiling. The highly tactile project is crafted from innovative materials including custom metalwork, fiber-optic layered walnut panels, and a glowing white canopy of layered membranes. These forms and materials complement a site specific artwork, a collaboration with artist Liam Gillick, that is part of the museum’s permanent collection. A dynamic setting for dining under glowing tiers of light, the Wright exhibits the artistic spirit alive within this celebrated institution and creates a joyful, expansive space that elevates the human experience.
