Outdoor Kitchen and Patio

To improve their outdoor entertainment space, the homeowners wanted to replace a deteriorating gazebo with a full outdoor kitchen and covered patio. The resulting project was 725 square feet and included a kitchen, storage, covered seating, television, wifi, and improved drainage.

Built from western red cedar, this outdoor kitchen and pergola features V-groove siding set in a horizontal pattern. A folding window is set into the building's front for easy access.

On the far side of a right-away and inaccessible by a backhoe or cement truck, the builders had to cart materials using a wheelbarrow. Additionally, the original footings were inadequate to support the new structure. MARK IV Builders dug 8 feet deep to give the new footings good bearing.
