39 White Street

Built as the home of RAAD founder James Ramsey, a large Tribeca loft dating from the 1860s had gone through several successive renovations. RAAD stripped away the previous interventions to seek the original details of the loft, while adding a clean, warm modern set of spaces. It is an apartment that is at once clean and modern while also heavily material and texture driven. Sharp functionality sets a backdrop for numerous collections, from fossils to archeological items to origami to vintage guitars.
