Video: Inhabitots
New York-based designer Jill Fehrenbacher, a self-proclaimed lover of vegan junk food, started Inhabitat, a site devoted to the future of design by tracking innovations in technology, practices and materials that are pushing architecture and home design toward a smarter and more sustainable future. Out of Inhabitat grew Inhabitots, dedicated to the art of green parenting and finding non-toxic baby products. She brought the toys to Dwell on Design’s Modern Family Zone, and while there told us a bit about Inhabitots’ mission and fun, safe toys.
