Seattle, Part Two
Earlier this week, I headed to Seattle to report a story for an upcoming issue and to run around town to find the best food, furnishings, and other local favorites. Part one of my trip was bookended with croissants and Korean tacos and filled with glimpses of the Olympic Sculpture Park, city bike racks, freeway underpasses, and more. Here we pick up halfway through day two of my three-day trip.

Loving these Seattle slideshows! Makes me miss living there.
As a long time resident of the Pacific Northwest, I particularly enjoyed reading and looking at the graphics of Seattle written and taken by MIyoko Ohtaki. I have always felt that there was a modern life style theme in Seattle probably nurtured by the early Scandinavians that helped settle this area. However, Ms Ohtaki has motivated me to continue to look on the design themes in Seattle as well as a restaurant I had not heard of. Thank you for the two sections on Seattle.
Thanks for the comments. There's always a ton of great stuff to see in Seattle, and I hope I get to head up there again soon!
I live here in West Seattle and love it! I left last year to live in California, but missed it here beyond words. Glad to be back. You have touched on so many of the reasons I love the PNW. We hit the Picasso exhibit this last Saturday and were blown away. I already love the new SAM, but seeing so many iconic pieces from every period of Picasso's work, was truly awe inspiring. Thanks for showing us some love and sharing your photos. I heart Dwell!
