Kitchen and Bath Industry Show 2010
This weekend, an estimated 35,000 designers, manufacturers, retailers, and press descended on Chicago's McCormick Place Convention Center to see the latest, greatest, and greenest in kitchen and bathroom products, fixtures, and appliances at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS). Dwell's associate editor Miyoko Ohtake toured the floors and made the following finds.

As an Architect I have been bemoaning the lack of handsome outlets and switches for quite awhile even going to the extreme of calling the UK to see if there was any chance of getting a company to make their lovely switches in an American model. The current trend of colored switchplates is a step in the right direction. Now if we could get some more interesting shapes that would blend in with my tiled backsplashes, etc....
Hmm...is Moen and Delta paying you guys cause their stuff is made in China and isnt half as cool as some of the stuff Hansgrohe, Kwc and other European manufactures are making..
