Birdie Light by Kiel Mead
Granted, it's been a good ten years since my half-credit, freshman-year-of-college badminton class, but my love for the genteel game persists. And though it's entirely ill-advised to play it in your living room, I see no reason whatsoever that this laudable little Birdie Light made from a goosefeather shuttlecock shouldn't float around, mid-arc, as though it were headed into the far corner of the court. The design by youngster Kiel Mead is inspired and at a mere $40 from Areaware, why not let these birdies flock together?
