in the mid-1980s, “when that stuff was really considered junk,” and began auctioning modern pieces at the Treadway Gallery in the mid-’90s. In 2000 he started Wright, and over the past seven years his name has become synonymous with the finest design collectibles of the 20th century (culminating in the 2006 sale of Pierre Koenig’s Case Study House #21, along with all of its contents).
