The Barn and the Lantern

The floor plan reveals the existing house, in green, and the addition, bordered in red. The angle of the lantern “was a pretty intentional shift on our part,” says Misra. “First we had it parallel to the barn on plan, but we tweaked it a little and gave it an angle, because when standing on the patio and looking out to the pool, the sightline is best this way.
