This Sleek Travel Trailer Has a Pull-Back Roof For Stargazing

Previously only available across Europe, the stylish Lume Traveler can now be pre-ordered for delivery within the United States.

Designed to enjoy outdoor living, the Lume Traveler is a small rectangular camper that features a sleek aluminum shell, a hatchback kitchen, and a unique convertible moonroof. Originally created in the Netherlands, this trailer is available in three models—each one meeting a different need. (More information on each model below.)

While the Lume Traveler was previously only available in Europe, the company has just launched their plans to bring the adorable travel trailer to the States. With a deposit of € 5,000 (approximately $5,850), the company is accepting pre-orders for delivery slots in late 2019 and the beginning of 2020.

The original model, known as the No. 1, has been designed by founder  Hein van de Laar. Finished with durable, high-quality materials, it is the most luxurious of the three models and contains a stainless steel worktop in the outdoor kitchen, as well as natural wool, gray-felt covered walls, and teak flooring. This model is priced at €46,500 (approximately $54,375).

The Lume Traveler’s kitchen is accessed from a rear hatch, similar to a teardrop trailer. There is also a 40-liter fridge below the counter that slides out as needed, and has plenty of storage for all your cooking supplies.

For €27,250 (approximately $31,870), you can buy the unfinished shell and transform it into whatever you desire, from a food truck to other marketing tactics.
