East Fork’s New Colorway Is a Dark and Dreamy Must-Have for Your Dinner Table

We can’t wait to dive into Night Swim, the opulent new glaze that’s arrived just in time for winter.

The masterminds at East Fork have unveiled their latest seasonal color, and it’s a splashy reminder that the craft of expertly made, gorgeously designed dinnerware is still alive and kicking.

"Night Swim is a departure for us," says East Fork co-founder Connie Matisse. "It's got a bit of a Manhattan nightlife in the ’90s vibe and a bit of a lavish, Louis XIV maximalism."

"Night Swim is a departure for us," says co-founder Connie Matisse. "It's got a bit of a Manhattan nightlife in the ’90s vibe and a bit of a lavish, Louis XIV maximalism. On our humble, pared-down, essentialist forms, though, it’s still grounded. It makes us think of a walk around the perimeter of a moonlit lake. The endless, open ocean reflecting starlight. It’s funny to describe colors as unnatural or otherworldly—there isn’t a color that this earth didn’t invent. A scarab beetle. A butterfly wing. A peacock feather. A deep, cold, pond at midnight." Take a peek at all the plate, cup, and bowl options that will make your dinner guests green with envy.

East Fork Bitty Bowl
The smallest of the bunch, but the one we keep finding new uses for. Run a line of them holding votive candles across your mantle, set the table with personal-sized sauce bowls, keep sea salt close at hand (don’t mess with salt spoons—salt is antiseptic; pinch away!).
East Fork Everyday Bowl
Perfect for tagliatelle with bolognese, a garden salad, potato and leek soup, a rice bowl—or about 3 and 1/2 cups to the brim.
East Fork Side Plate
This is your plate for your morning avocado toast, appetizer salads, or a slice of pie a la mode. They make a great lunch plate for you or dinner plate for kids. Nests perfectly between East Fork Cake Plates and Dinner Plates.
East Fork Weeknight Serving Bowl
Easily our most reached for serving dish, and the piece we recommend most frequently as a wedding gift. Perfect for family-style salads, pasta, vegetable sides, or sitting pretty on your island holding apples all fall.
East Fork Breakfast Bowl
The perfect bowl for little snacks, light breakfasts, just about anything served to little eaters.
East Fork Juice Cup
Please believe us when we say that we do not judge chugging half gallons of OJ straight from the refrigerator. But if that’s not your style, meet The Juice Cup. We use the term Juice Cup loosely, and with the understanding that you might wanna knock back a few successive rounds.
East Fork Cake Plate
The wee one previously known as the Bread and Butter plate. Use it for bread and butter, yes, but also to hold pillar candles, a desk plant, for Hors D'Oeuvres at cocktail parties, or for a little afternoon cheese and cracker snack.
