If you've ever dreamed of enjoying the Musée du Louvre without the hordes of tourists, here is your chance—Airbnb just launched an international contest that will award one lucky winner and their guest an unforgettable sleepover beneath the Louvre’s iconic Pyramid.
Airbnb has partnered with Musée du Louvre to celebrate 30 years of the museum's iconic pyramid.
This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is the latest and most impressive installment in Airbnb’s Night At program, a series of one-night stays that offer "the sleepover of your dreams" to contest winners.
The suite will be placed underneath the Louvre Pyramid.
The pop-up suite includes a large, comfortable bed for two.

So far, Airbnb's magical getaways have included a Halloween sleepover in the Paris Catacombs, an underwater bedroom in a shark aquarium, and a night in a VIP suite overlooking the home court of the Chicago Bulls. Contest winners are also treated to unique experiences—from layup lessons with former pro basketball player Scottie Pippen, to front-row seats at a final gymnastics qualifier for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
An art historian will guide guests around the museum on a bespoke tour similar to those previously given to the Obamas and Beyonce and Jay-Z.
For its latest feat, Airbnb will temporarily install a pyramid-shaped luxury suite under the Louvre’s iconic glass pyramid in honor of the building’s 30th anniversary.
This unique opportunity is only offered for one night on Saturday, April 30.
On April 30, the lucky contest winner and their guest will be invited to the Louvre after hours and greeted by an art historian for a bespoke tour of the museum that’s followed by a series of extraordinary experiences that include toasting the Mona Lisa to a backdrop of French music, feasting in a pop-up dining room shared with the Venus de Milo, and enjoying an intimate acoustic concert in Napoleon III’s gilded chambers.
The lucky contest winner and their guest will be treated to a Renaissance-inspired aperitif in a sitting room with an intimate view of the Mona Lisa.
An extravagant dinner will be served in a pop-up dining room under the gaze of Venus de Milo, the Greek goddess of love and beauty.
"We are happy to offer this unique and special experience for two people to stay in the museum overnight, in a bespoke pyramid-shaped bedroom," says Anne-Laure Béatrix, Deputy Managing Director of the Musée du Louvre. "We know that many people would love the opportunity to wander alone at night through the Louvre, and we want this to be a magical and unforgettable experience. With Airbnb’s partnership, we hope to encourage more people to discover how truly accessible and inspiring the wonders of art can be."
Guests will also be treated to an acoustic concert in Napoleon III’s luxurious chambers before tucking into bed.
Airbnb has also partnered with the museum to curate exclusive Airbnb experiences at the Louvre that will be bookable on the Airbnb platform from May until the end of the year.
Guests will not be permitted to freely roam the museum unattended outside of the VIP tour and programmed activities.
Upon waking, guests will be treated to a Parisian breakfast in bed.
To enter the contest, visit Airbnb and answer the question: Why would you be the Mona Lisa’s perfect guest? Submissions must be turned in before April 12 at 23:59 (French time - GMT+1). One winner will be selected, and they'll be able to bring one additional guest; Airbnb will cover the costs of the round-trip flights.
